Sulina old lighthouse - ROM 020
During YP1WFF radio expedition in Danube Delta there was four lighthouses activated. The number code for Sulina old lighthouse is ROM - 020.
Construction was established by the Danube Comission, "The public act of navigation on the Danube" issued on 2 november 1865 in Galati and completed in 1870. Lighthouse located in present days at 2.5 km from the sea is now museum.

With a height of 17m, Sulina lighthouse is a symbol of the city, also hosting the working office of Eugeniu Botez, known after the pen name of Jean Bart author of famous book Europolis.
